Dressmakers Edging Cord Trim
This is a really sweet edging perfect for dressmaking projects. It is around 8mm wide overall and we would describe it is a coloured super soft cord with a tail attached so you can sew it into your project. Unlike bias piping cord, where the bias ribbon is sewn over the cord, this edging cord is made whole. The cord colour is the one you see and it has a tail attached to be stitched on to your fabric.
I love it and use it in all kinds of clothing projects like tops, pyjamas, dresses…
The cord is approx. 2-3mm and the tail is approx. 5-6mm wide and the composition is a cotton/polyester, where the cord is cotton and the tail is the polyester part. You can buy this by the metre or on a 25m reel.
