Linwood Chitgar Watermelon
Join us on a journey along the ancient silk road as we celebrate the vivid decoration and colour of the ancient block prints of Uzbekistan. Sensitively capturing the handcrafted feel of the original documents, Linwood’s studio has developed a collection of five homely designs. Presented on tumbled linen fabric, the considered palette ranges from classic red and black to calming, earthy blues and greens. Charming and mysterious, Bibi confidently draws on the past to create a collection for today.
Inspired by an archive document, circa 1800s, Chitgar was hand painted in the Linwood design studio. The subtle detailing gives the simple all-over repeat a pleasantly relaxed quality, making it suitable for both contemporary and classic interiors.
