A celebration of joyous pattern and colour, Aubin is a curated and playful collection of small-scale prints that tell a story of pattern making and the rich history behind this wonderful craft. Influenced by the traditional block printing techniques of India and Asia, each design was originally hand carved and hand-printed, cherishing the perfect imperfections that make them unique. Masterfully capturing and cleverly recreating the rich print marks, the designs are full of nuanced, artisanal detail, that are a nod to tradition while offering a fresh, original perspective. Honouring British craftmanship, the designs are printed in England on an organic and recycled cotton linen blend fabric.
Aubin was inspired by the free-spirited essence of the Bloomsbury Group and the layers of pattern-on-pattern of Charleston Farmhouse, the home in which they congregated. Including a mix of scales and colours designed to work as one, Aubin encourages all to infuse homes with a sense of joy and individuality.
